Buoyant Ecologies Exhibition at Autodesk Gallery

February 26, 2015

Autodesk Workshop at Pier 9 and California College of the Arts present BUOYANT ECOLOGIES: an exhibition of a collaborative design research project exploring new visions for San Francisco's Embarcadero waterfront. The exhibition, co-curated by Variable Projects director Adam Marcus, Margaret Ikeda, and Evan Jones, presents six proposals for a floating expansion of the Autodesk Workshop. The work was produced in a fall 2014 Integrated Building Design studio at CCA's Architecture Division. Participants in a discussion of the studio's work will include CCA project leaders Marcus, Ikeda, and Jones; Noah Weinstein and J Sassaman of Autodesk Workshop at Pier 9; Bill Kreysler of Kreysler & Associates; and John Oliver of Moss Landing Marine Laboratories / Benthic Lab.
