Variable Projects has received an Honorable Mention for the 2016 Architect's Newspaper Best of Design Award for Young Architects. The Best of Design Awards are given annually to offices that demonstrate "evidence of innovation, creative use of new technology, sustainability, strength of presentation, and, most importantly, great design." This year's jury consisted of Erik Verboon of Walter P Moore, Claire Weisz of WXY Architecture + Urban Design, Karen Stonely of SPAN Architecture, Christopher Leong of Leong Leong, Adrianne Weremchuk of NYC Department of Parks and Recreation, and Matt Shaw of The Architect's Newspaper.
