On October 19, 2019, Adam Marcus presented at the 2019 Reynolds Symposium: Education By Design at the University of Oregon in Portland. The annual symposium explores innovative pedagogical approaches to design integration, design for climate change, and digital technologies. This year’s event featured architects and educators from around the country.

Adam presented research from the Performative Ornament seminars that he led at California College of the Arts rom 2014-2017. The work explores new approaches to architectural ornamentation in the context of contemporary technologies of design and fabrication.
