On March 18, the exhibition "Drawing Codes: Experimental Protocols of Architectural Representation, Volume II" opened at the Elmaleh Gallery at the University of Virginia School of Architecture in Charlottesville, VA. The show is the second volume in a series organized by the Digital Craft Lab at California College of the Arts and co-curated by Adam Marcus and Andrew Kudless, and it features 24 commissioned works exploring the impact of new technologies on the relationship between code and drawing.
The opening event included a lecture by Marcus and Kudless, followed by a panel discussion with UVA faculty Melissa Goldman, Emma Mendel, Jeana Ripple and Andrea Hansen Phillips.
The show runs at UVA until April 18. For more information on the Drawing Codes project, see this link.
