Two drawings by Variable Projects, titled Tectonic Contingencies, were recently exhibited in the group show “Drawing Im/Proper,” curated by Kevin Hirth and Anca Matyiku at the University of Colorado, Denver. The drawings, adapted from our Arbor project for the City of Palo Alto, explore two alternative readings of part-whole relationships within the work. We are thrilled to be included in this show, which also features work by BairBalliet, Design Earth, Extents, Perry Kulper, LANZA Atelier, WOJR, Outpost Office, and others.
