Adam Marcus recently contributed a chapter to the new book Sustaining Seas: Oceanic Space and the Politics of Care, published by Rowman & Littlefield, and edited by Elspeth Probyn, Kate Johnston, and Nancy Lee. The chapter, "Buoyant Ecologies: Interspecies Cooperation for Sea Level Rise Adaptation," discusses Marcus’s work with the Architectural Ecologies Lab in developing strategies for coastal resilience that are rooted in mutual cooperation and benefit between humans and other species.
